The Antenna Group Head Office and Media Centre is a landmark corporate campus by LC Architects, for one of Greece's largest media organisations. The project brings together the group's headquarters, broadcast facilities and production spaces within a cohesive architectural design that reflects the scale and ambition of the Antenna Group's operations.

LC Architects' approach establishes a bold corporate identity through their signature architecture. The building's exterior features a landmark design creating an iconic presence, while the interior spaces are designed to support the complex operational requirements of a major media organisation. The programme integrates executive offices, open-plan and enclosed workspaces, conference facilities and specialised broadcast and production areas within a unified spatial strategy.

The iconic design of the project is based on the idea of carving a solid stone, creating cavities and porosity from a compact and robust structure. Between this new porosity and the cavities, the building's programme unfolds. Just as water carves stone, LC Architects have created a designed nature, a designed 'geomorphology'.

The identity of the project's architectural expression is conveyed through every element of the building's design. The visitor receives this architectural expression from the main entrance, which represents the culmination of the design. In main entrance area, we create a triple-height "cavity", like a deep "incision" into the body of the building, covered with linear timber elements, producing a captivating moment that welcomes visitors through an almost ceremonial passage, introducing the user to the complex's inner world through a compelling spatial experience.

The idea of carving continues into the building's interior, where we create a central luminous "canyon." Through the subtraction of solid mass, connections and bridges emerge, linking the office wings on either side of the canyon both functionally and as voids that allow natural light to penetrate from the glass roof down to the lowest floors.

In plan view, the main building develops in a ‘U’ configuration, with the two facing zones housing the office spaces looking onto the central luminous canyon. Within this central porous, which extends across five floors, atria and sculptural bridges between the office wings, create an interplay of sightlines between the various floors, between voids and solids, enhancing visual communication and transparency within the building.

Additionally, due to the site's level difference, a secondary entrance is developed at the rear, combined with the vehicular access area to the underground car park. This level provides direct access to the Studios, where the supporting spaces, newsroom, control rooms, etc. are arranged on the same level, thus creating a single floor dedicated exclusively to media with direct access to and from the surrounding grounds.

The design of TV studios is also based on the concept of porosity. The studios blocks are externally cladded with perforated aluminium panels that are internally illuminated. During the day, the studio volumes appear as two solid metallic cubes that engage in dialogue with the porosity of the main building, while at night, sublte light diffuses through their porous shell, projecting a light appearance and hinting at the 'live' operation of the television programmes taking place within.

Finally, the surrounding is developed on the basis of functionality and flow, for both staff and visitors, vehicles as well as the needs of the TV studios. Simultaneously, multiple outdoor green spaces and break-out areas for the office spaces are created. These planted gardens combine seating areas among plantation with a variety of plants and trees, with the aim of developing an urban green oasis that improves the local microclimate both in the surrounding grounds, inside and on top of the building, through its sky gardens.

The project has been designed to the highest environmental, acoustic and technical specifications. The harmonious integration of these demanding technical requirements, driven by special uses such as the studios,  into the bold architectural identity, was a key design factor. The technical world is fully embedded within the architectural language, reflecting LC Architects' approach of merging complex technical demands into the architecture, creating iconic architectural masterpieces.
