Riza suspended luminaire is an innovative design luminaire. The concept of RIZA is that it grows out of the ceiling and as its name implies (from Greek word riza = root) it twists and creates a game with gravity and stability. It can stand as a stand-alone piece but also as populated elements, interlocking with each other and producing intriguing clusters and chandeliers.
The whole series that Lianou Chalvatzis Architects luminaires is mainly consisted from suspended and floor lamps. Riza is the first luminaire of the series which was presented in public at EuroShop Retail Trade Fair in Dusseldorf, Germany from 16-20 February 2014, as well as at Light + Building exhibition at Messe Frankfurt from 30 March to 04 April 2014.
